Guidelines
- Prodigy (4–6 years old)
Beginner – Grade 1
- Junior (7–10 years old)
Grade 2–4
- Intermediate (11–14 years old)
Grade 5–7
- Advanced (15–18 years old)
Grade 8 and Diploma
- Young Artist (19–21 years old)
Diploma and above
The above guidelines are based on ABRSM / Trinity / LCM or equivalent examination boards. It should only serve as guideline and not requirements for all participants.
Participants are encouraged to select repertoire that best showcases their musical skills, technical ability, and artistic expression.
Adjudication
- The adjudication panel reserves the right to stop a participant’s performance at any point in the competition once a decision has been made.
- The panel also reserves the right to modify, withhold, or remove certain prizes if deemed necessary.
- If any jury member has taught a participant continuously within the past year, that jury member will be excluded from evaluating that participant's performance.
- All decisions made by the adjudication panel are final, and no discussion or correspondence regarding the results will be entertained.

- In the context of audio-visual recordings and photographs taken during the Preliminary and Final Round Auditions, as well as the Prize Winner Concert, applicants hereby renounce all economic and any other rights related to these recordings. They grant authorization to IDYP2026 and any affiliated production and broadcasting entities for the unrestricted publication and reproduction, either partially or fully, of their performances.
- By submitting their registrations, all applicants are considered to have granted IDYP2026 and its affiliated sponsors or partners the right to use their personal data, including photographs, audio, and video recordings.
- Additionally, by submitting their registrations, applicants also authorize IDYP2026 and its affiliated sponsors or partners to use their contact information, including for marketing purposes.
Others
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel competition categories in unforeseen circumstances. If a category is canceled, registration fees will be fully refunded.
- Competitors who arrive late may be disqualified at the discretion of the organizer.
- Participants must adhere to the performance order determined by the organizing committee on the day of the competition.
- In the event of a dispute, the decision made by the organizing committee shall be considered final.
