Ans: This event is open for young musicians aged 21 years and below worldwide who play the piano. Each category has their respective age restriction. For more information, click the link below:

Ans: The competition consists of two rounds. The Semi-Final Round involves video recording submission via a YouTube / Google Drive / Dropbox link. 

• The Final Round will be conducted live in Jakarta or Singapore based on your application. 
• For the Online Category, the Final Round will be conducted via video submission.

Ans: You may register at any time from now until 15 March 2026 for Online Category competition. 31 March 2026 for Live Category competition in Jakarta or Singapore.

The video must be recorded within six months of submitting the application and uploaded to YouTube. Please ensure that the video link is submitted in the application form.

Ans: No, the video must be recorded in a single and unedited take.

The application fees are as follows:

Ans: There will be no refunds for withdrawals or after online application has been submitted.

Ans: No, participants are responsible for all their expenses, including transportation and accommodation. There are no reimbursements or accommodation provided for out-of-town / international participants.

Ans: No, all awards, rewards, or prizes are non-transferrable.

Ans: Digital comment sheet will be provided by the jury members for all participants.

Ans: Please upload your performance video on YouTube / GoogleDrive / Dropbox and provide us with the link. We have included a dedicated section on the application form where you can enter the video link.

Ans: No, the video must be recorded in a single and unedited take.

Ans: Programs must exclusively include classical piano pieces from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th Century periods. Non-classical genres such as Pop or Jazz are not permitted. Participants performing non-classical piano pieces will face disqualification. Additionally, the programs must adhere to the specified time limit in each category.

• Faber Piano Adventures Lesson Book

Ans: Yes, all pieces must be performed from memory

Ans: The participant's chosen repertoire must fall within the given time limit. The jury members reserve the right to interrupt a performance if it exceeds the allotted time limit.

Ans: All participants are required to wear formal attire.
